(06:30 hrs Pick up from your hotel /Meeting Point 07:30 am) for Ayutthaya thrives today but only as a country town and the prevailing atmosphere is a far cry fromthe regal splendor, pageantry and cosmopolitan air than once pervaded the site. Nevertheless, there are sufficient ruins, now preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to capture the imagination.

Wat Chai Wattanaram, One of the most visited historical sites of Ayutthaya. The temple was ordered to built in 1630 A.D. by King Prasat Thong to honor his mother, featuring the architectural style influenced by Angkor temple in Cambodia.

Wat Lokayasutha assumed that it was built in the early Ayutthaya period. This temple has the largest reclining buddha image in the island city of Ayutthaya. Enshrined outdoor with 42 meters long and 8 meters high.

Wat Phra Srisanphet was the holiest temple on the site of the old royal palace of Ayutthaya. It was the grandest and most beautiful temple in Ayutthaya. Main attractions of this temple are big three chedis (Ceylonese style stupa). The terrace of the chedis and mondops was surrounded by a cloister (Phrarabieng) at the middle of temple.

Wat Mahathat was one of the oldest and most significant temples in the history of Ayutthaya as it housed the Buddha’s holy relic. One of the temple ‘s most photographed object is the head of a sand-stone buddha image entwined with the roots of a tree.
