8:00 AM: Start your day early by departing from your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City. Most Long Tan battlefield tours depart from there. The journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Long Tan typically takes around 2 to 2.5 hours by bus or private vehicle. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside and take in the sights along the way.

Arrive at the Long Tan battlefield. You'll likely start your tour at the Long Tan Cross, which is a central memorial site.Begin your guided tour of the battlefield. Your knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the history of the Battle of Long Tan, the soldiers involved, and the events that unfolded on that fateful day.

Explore the Cross and Memorials: Take some time to explore the Long Tan Cross and the nearby memorials. Reflect on the sacrifices made by the Australian and New Zealand soldiers during the battle.

Lunch: Break and Refreshment

Proceed to the Long Phuoc Tunnels and learn about their purpose and features, such as meeting areas, first aid stations, and fighting pits.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City and you should arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon
