Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
When you arrive in India, you will be met by our representative in the arrivals area and then taken to your hotel in a private car. After check-in, you can spend the afternoon relaxing in your hotel to decompress from your long journey.
Day 2: Explore the Delhi
After your arrival, the day begins with a visit to the magnificent Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its towering sandstone minaret and intricate carvings. Next, you'll explore the serene Humayun's Tomb, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Moving on, you'll delve into the rich history of India with a tour of the iconic Red Fort, followed by a visit to India Gate, a symbol of national pride. Continuing your journey, you'll pass by the grandeur of the President House and pay respects at Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. To conclude this enriching day, you'll find serenity at the Lotus Temple, a unique Bahá'í House of Worship known for its lotus-shaped architecture. Your overnight stay in Delhi will provide a comfortable rest before embarking on the next leg of your adventure.
Day 3: Flight to Varanasi
Your tour begins with breakfast at your hotel in Delhi, followed by a transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi, you'll be greeted and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Your day in Varanasi unfolds with a city sightseeing tour, which includes visits to the sacred Manikarnika Ghat, the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and the spiritual Sankatmochan Temple. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the heritage lanes of Varanasi, soaking in the city's unique ambiance. After lunch, your exploration continues with more local sightseeing. In the evening, you'll experience the mesmerizing Aarati ceremony at Dasashwamedh Ghat along the banks of the Ganges River, an essential part of the spiritual and cultural fabric of Varanasi. The day concludes with a delicious dinner, and you'll spend the night at your hotel, immersed in the spiritual aura of Varanasi.
Day 4: From Spiritual Serenity to Artistic Marvels: Sarnath to Khajuraho
Start with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges, followed by breakfast. Visit Sarnath, a significant Buddhist site, before checking out from your hotel. Fly to Khajuraho and check into your hotel. Explore the Western and Eastern group of Temples, renowned for their intricate sculptures. In the evening, enjoy a Sound and Light show. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Orchha's Royal Heritage and Return to Delhi
Your day kicks off with breakfast at your Khajuraho hotel. Following this, you embark on a roughly 3-hour journey to the historic town of Orchha. Here, you'll delve into the royal heritage by visiting prominent landmarks including Ram Raja Mandir, the Orchha Fort Complex comprising Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, and Rai Praveen Mahal, as well as the picturesque Cenotaphs Orchha along the Betwa River at Kanchan Ghat. After a delightful lunch in Orchha, you'll return to Khajuraho and head to the airport to catch your flight back to Delhi marking the conclusion of your memorable tour.
